No prior creative experience is required
No portfolio is required
Applicants must be able to commit to the full duration of the program and possess a valid passport for international travel

Saudi citizens don’t need a visa to enter Guatemala. However, having a U.S. visa can make entry smoother and expedite customs clearance. Without a U.S. visa, travelers may face challenges or rejections at the border.
Non-Saudis must consult their respective embassies or consulates to confirm visa requirements and ensure proper documentation for entry into Guatemala.

Payment Methods:
• Cash: Commonly used in smaller towns, markets, and local shops.
• Credit/Debit Cards: Widely accepted in hotels, larger restaurants, and shops in tourist areas.
• ATMs: Available in most cities and tourist areas for withdrawing Quetzals.
Call your bank before traveling to activate your card for international use and carry some local currency for smaller purchases. -
Please be aware that your Saudi phone number will not function in Guatemala. To prevent any issues, we recommend setting up an alternative verification method with your bank before your trip, such as email or an authentication app, to ensure seamless access to your accounts while traveling.

The 14-day artist-led residency in Antigua invites participants to embark on their own creative journey, with the Blue Camel Residency providing a supportive space for self-directed exploration. Set in the inspiring surroundings of Antigua, participants are encouraged to discover their unique artistic vision, immerse themselves in the local culture, and create independently, all while engaging with the community and drawing inspiration from the rich landscapes and history of the region.
